  1. This is a very interest research direction both in terms of performance and injury. I guess that some of the differences described might not be “significant”, but other clearly are. The total number of tackles undertaken on dominant and non-dominant sides is really interesting and it does beg the question of what they do if a play runs at their “wrong” shoulder. Do you have any evidence in the footage of the dominant shoulder tackles having the head on the rwrong side or being otherwise poor in quality because they should have used the other shoulder?
